LaserVision was initially founded at the Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital and the ethos and quality of care has been expanded across the country to other centres to provide patients with the very best in corneal and refractive eye care. Initially opened in 1999, the hospital underwent an £8m refurbishment in order to  provided high quality healthcare for the residents of Guildford and the surrounding areas of Surrey and Hampshire. The hospital works with leading consultants to offer a range of services and treatments for preventing, diagnosing and treating a wide array of ophthalmic and other medical conditions. All of the individual contemporary patient rooms are en-suite with satellite flat screen television and WiFi internet access to make your stay not just comfortable but exceptional. The hospital offers individual catering from an a la carte menu and there is a comfortable visitor and patient lounge and two weekly visits to the hospital from relaxation spa therapists, offering relaxing treatments and therapies including massage, manicures and pedicures.

Sheffield Royal Hallamshire Hospital
The LaserVision clinic at the Sheffield Vision Centre is operated by the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and offers both Laser and non-laser refractive treatments within a hospital-based, consultant led clinic. All support staff including our Optometrists and nurses are NHS employees and consequently have no sales targets to aspire to. At the Sheffield Vision Centre we pride ourselves on helping you make an informed decision about your laser eye surgery and consequently we are happy to advise and support you whenever you need it. Your consultation will be performed by your surgeon, which means you can begin to establish a relationship with the person who will be performing your surgery right from the very start.

LaserVision offers state of the art technology with industry recognised lasers that are at the forefront of the field.  All treatments include “wavefront” as standard, thus offering you a treatment that is as individual as your eyes. Femtosecond technology is used to perform ‘blade-free’ surgery and the latest 5th generation Intralase is used as it is the recognised gold standard in this sector.

Whilst laser eye surgery is the best procedure for many people, those with extremes of near and far sightedness may find that Implantable Contact Lenses (ICL) or Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) are more suitable options.

Vision matters. At LaserVision, our focus is you.

Very friendly, helpful staff who seemed confident in their abilities. Got an excellent outcome with LASEK from moderate short sightedness and astygmatism to almost no detectable prescription.

I had Lasik eye surgery on both of my eyes in September 2016 with Laservision at the Manchester Eye Hospital under Mr Brahma and his team. I received excellent care and all the staff were extremely friendly. It was carried out on a private ward which was excellently maintained. My care both before, during and after surgery was faultless and extremely thorough. My vision has now settled down and is amazing. I wish I\'d had it done years ago! I would highly recommend Laservision UK with Mr Brahma and his team.

Its been over a year since I had LASEK surgery at the Laservision clinic in the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. Mr Brahma and his team were excellent and I felt well looked after. The LASEK surgery was more intense than the usual LASIK and the first few days after the surgery in particular were... uncomfortable. I had been told of this and given step by step details of what occurs after the surgery, so this was expected. I now take my new eyes for granted and cant really remember what it was like to not see clearly. They are a tad more sensitive to dryness than they used to be but this is easily sorted by keeping well hydrated.

I underwent LASEK at the end of 2013 with Laservision in Guildford and I couldn't be happier with my experience and results. Excellent standard of care and a great team, who were so professional, friendly and reassuring. I really felt at ease throughout the whole process. And the most important thing for me was that I genuinely felt that Mr Tappin had my best interests at heart and really took the time to talk me through everything before, during and after the procedure. Great aftercare and better than 20/20 vision- I couldn't ask for more!
